Joseph V. Cannova

Dr. Joseph V. Cannova, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Associated Plastic Surgeons and Med Spa in Kansas City, where he has practiced since 1998. A Kansas City native, he earned his BA in Biology and MD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed a general surgery residency at St. Luke's Medical Center (Columbia Saint Luke's) in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as House Staff Association President, and his plastic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After training across the country, he returned to Kansas City to give back to his community. Dr. Cannova has been named a Super Doctor every year since 2007 and was recognized as a Top Doctor in Cosmetic Surgery by 435 South Magazine. He was also awarded Best Cosmetic Surgeon in Best of KC.
