Eric Chang

Dr. Eric Chang, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Columbia Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Columbia, Maryland, serving patients from the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. areas since 2006. A Maryland native, he graduated magna cum laude with honors from Yale University (where he also earned a degree in East Asian Studies and won the Williams Prize for Best Senior Essay) before attending Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons for his MD, where he received the Merksamer Scholarship Award. He completed a combined six-year general surgery and plastic surgery residency at Stanford University Medical Center, serving as chief resident. He was appointed Assistant Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins in April 2019 and serves as Division Chair of the Plastic Surgery Division at Howard County General Hospital. He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for over 15 consecutive years and was recognized by Newsweek among America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2025 for breast augmentation and liposuction. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society. He has authored journal articles and book chapters and presented research at multiple national plastic surgery meetings. He also volunteers to help disfigured individuals in underdeveloped communities. He personally performs all injectable treatments. His three children competed nationally and internationally in acrobatic gymnastics. He specializes in breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction, mommy makeovers, facelifts, neck lifts, eyelid surgery, Botox, dermal fillers, and medical weight loss.
