Mariam Awada

Dr. Mariam Awada, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Michigan Cosmetic Surgery in Southfield, Michigan. She was a Presidential Scholar at Wayne State University, where she completed a double major in Chemistry and Biology, and graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine with Distinction and Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She completed an integrated General and Plastic Surgery residency at the internationally renowned University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. With over 25 years of experience and more than 50,000 cosmetic surgeries performed, she is among the most experienced aesthetic surgeons in the Midwest. She has been named a Newsweek Top 100 Plastic Surgeon in the US for five consecutive years (for breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and facelifts), ranked #1 plastic surgeon in Michigan for over a decade, honored as Michigan's "Face of Cosmetic Surgery" by Hour Detroit Top Docs, and received Michigan's Best Plastic Surgeon for Patient Satisfaction by the American Institute of Plastic Surgeons for 10 consecutive years. She is a member of The Aesthetic Society, ASPS, ACS, and ISAPS. She also serves as a Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery training future surgeons.
