Steven Ringler

Dr. Steven L. Ringler, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of the Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University for both his undergraduate and medical degrees, completed his surgical and plastic surgery residencies at Butterworth Hospital, and post-residency training at Southern Illinois University. With over 40 years of experience (in practice since 1983), he is nationally and internationally recognized for his achievements and educational leadership. He served as Director of the Grand Rapids Plastic Surgery Residency Program for 12 years, past President of the Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgeons, and Chairman of the Virgin Islands Workshop in Plastic Surgery for 18 years. He is the founder and Medical Director of the Michigan Chapter of Operation Smile, which has provided free surgery to over 1,300 children with facial deformities worldwide. He has been named to Best Doctors in America every year since 1996 (28+ consecutive years), Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2010, US News Best Plastic Surgeons, and is in the RealSelf Hall of Fame. He also founded the Hair Restoration Institute and holds patents for non-surgical botanical hair restoration treatments. He is a Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University.
