Steven R. Sigalove

Dr. Steven R. Sigalove, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at the Scottsdale Center for Plastic Surgery in Paradise Valley, Arizona. He is a nationally and internationally recognized expert in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and the creator of the SigaLift technique, an innovative approach to subfascial breast implant placement. Dr. Sigalove received his Doctor of Medicine from the Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1997. He completed his general surgery training at Rush-Presbyterian Saint Luke's Medical Center and Cook County Hospital in Chicago, followed by a one-year fellowship in hand surgery and a residency in plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. He received additional mentorship in breast surgery from plastic surgery icons Dr. G. Patrick Maxwell in Nashville and Dr. Charles Randquist in Stockholm, Sweden. After 15 years of practice in Chicago, Dr. Sigalove relocated to Arizona to join Dr. Robert Cohen at the Scottsdale Center for Plastic Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and has served as Vice President of the Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a Key Opinion Leader for Allergan and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and edited a textbook on prepectoral breast reconstruction — holding the world's largest published series on the technique. Dr. Sigalove specializes in breast augmentation, breast revision surgery, breast reconstruction, facelifts, neck lifts, brow lifts, blepharoplasty, tummy tucks, and body contouring. He was recently selected as one of only 35 surgeons in the United States for Motiva's prestigious USA Pioneers Session.
